Hello!
If you have not met me yet, my name is Gloria Starr and I have been the publisher of Macaroni KID Bowie, Crofton and Odenton for the past 2 years. It has been a crazy and amazing journey, getting the site up and running again after being down for 6 months before I came on and it has been amazing hosting events and sending you information about weekly events, camps and sharing some amazing articles from local business owners and from corporate.
I wanted to come in and start writing to you so you get to know me better as the publisher and would love to get some helpful insights into how I can make this newsletter better for you!

Spring Sports are in full swing! I have 2 boys both in sports. The 6 year old is playing soccer and the 10 year old is playing Flag Football, both for GORC located off Strawberry Lake in Odenton MD. Plus, my 10 year old has found a love for football and he is taking training classes twice a week to hone his skill and be a better player. The rain on Friday might put a damper on the games this coming weekend, but we will see!
My 6 year old did get the chance to work with Rachel at Pedal Power Kids these last 2 weekends and he is no longer scared of his bike and he is gliding like a champ and actually trying with the pedals. If you have not checked out Pedal Power Kids and you have difficulty with your child learning to ride a bike. Rachel, the owner of Pedal Power Kids, and her assistants are amazing!!! It might be a little far for some, but I am one who doesn't mind traveling for good classes and teachers, so to me it's totally worth it!
