Fall Festivities at the MD Corn Maze
Visiting the corn maze has become a fun annual Fall event for my family. Usually the the Fall Festivals in the area are farther away and take a while to get to, but the corn maze has always been right in the middle of town and we love everything about it. From seeing it being built throughout the August and September months, to actually visiting it and getting to see all the new activities they brought for the year.
This year's events did not disappoint! The dinosaur theme was fun and the my kids loved seeing the dinosaur's made out of hay and the how the corn maze was made into a "Jurassic Quest"! They even ran into dinosaur's while they were getting on the hay ride! They said that the dinosaur's wanted to have fun too!

If you have never been to the MD Corn Maze, the events and themes change up yearly, but they still keep beloved Fall festivals events throughout the area. When you go to the MD Corn maze you can expect to see the following:

When you get there, you see all of the fun activities in store for you and the field bursts with all the exciting energy around you! The kids pull you in all different directions because there is something for every age group at this Festival, which makes it such a great family event! My kids personally enjoyed sling shots, climbing on the hay bails, the petting zoo, the zip line and trying to get up Jacob's ladder!
Walking Through The Corn Maze
If you have never been through a corn maze, it's such a fun experience for the whole family! You get poles to walk around with in case you get lost, plus there is someone on top of a tower in the middle of the maze (the tower watch) to make sure everyone remains safe. They are also there in case you can not find your way out! This year, you could find clues throughout the corn maze with an app on your phone and each clue unlocked a piece of a puzzle. My 10 year old loved this feature and it gave him more motivation to keep searching for the clues within the maze.
The MD Corn Maze Website explains it best, "If you are new to 'corn mazing'... The object is to negotiate your way (on foot) through the design we've cut into the corn. The corn is taller than you... so it's fun and challenging to explore your way through the paths. We always make sure to have destinations for you to find in the maze. If you find them in the right order.. they often help you find your way out! Either way... they definitely add to the fun! You may carry a flag to raise up towards our tower lookout in case you need help finding your way out. Our maze is cut to include two routes, so those who would like a less challenging version... have no fear... we can point you in the right direction."

The best part is, it is fun for the whole family and there is something for everyone at every age to enjoy!
