Each week Macaroni KID Bowie will be sharing our picks of family-friendly things to do in the Bowie, Crofton & Odenton. This week, we're highlighting 5 things to do with kids Dec. 17-20th. See our full events calendar for all of this week's fun!
1. Cookies and Story with Santa
With a limited number of attendees, we will be able to provide a more magical and personal experience for your littles to come and meet Santa, hear him tell a story, and of course, have some cookies and milk with him! We will have our Christmas set up for our photo booth and you will walk away with a photo of your little one with Santa!
This event includes:
Surprise entrance; Sit on Santas lap and photo; Sitting around for storytime; Decorate a mini stocking
2 hours total; 1 Cookie per ticketed child.
2. Santa Claus is coming to Crofton Library on a Firetruck!
On Friday & Saturday December 17th & 18th Santa will be visiting the parking lot of the CROFTON LIBRARY. He will be arriving at 6pm. Gather your family and grab your holiday masks, and wish Santa a Merry Christmas!
3. Breakfast with Santa Virtual Broadcast
Tune into our 2021 virtual Breakfast with Santa broadcast on Saturday, December 18 from 9 - 12 p.m. for a jolly morning of read aloud stories, craft making, and of course a step-by-step breakfast with Santa!
We've put together craft bags that provide everything you need to to participate in this virtual celebration. These craft bags can be picked up at City Hall. City Hall is located at 15901 Fred Robinson Way. Craft bags are available while supplies last.
4. Six Flags America Holiday in the Park
Holiday in the Park is back! Tis the season for glittering lights, delicious treats, and a festive spin on your favorite rides.
5.Winter Festival Of Lights | Watkins Park
The Winter Festival of Lights will shine bright this holiday season with 3 miles of drive-through whimsical lights! Experience dazzling scenes that celebrate the magic of the holiday season from the comfort of your own car.
