Nestled in the heart of Bowie lies Whitehall Pool and Tennis Club. Offering a plethora of amenities, a membership at Whitehall opens the doors to a world of aquatic adventures, friendly competitions, and vibrant social gatherings.
At the heart of the club is its magnificent pool, featuring a water slide, two 1 meter diving boards, and one 3 meter diving board, and lap lanes so you can get your stroke in. In addition to the main pool is a separate, gated, baby pool, always guarded by a certified lifeguard. Members enjoy unlimited access to the pool, where they can bask in the sun, take a refreshing dip, or perfect their strokes and dives. Membership also includes one free week of swim lessons for children, participation on the Whitehall Swim Team (part of Prince Mont Swim League), and use of facility and grounds including the grills, ping pong tables, playground, basketball court, volleyball court, tennis/pickleball courts, and bathrooms equipped with showers and changing stalls.
Whitehall also offers additional programs for a small fee including Dive Team, with Whitehall being the only pool in Prince George’s county offering a Dive program. For those with a passion for racquet sports, Whitehall offers tennis and pickleball programs. Whether you're a seasoned pro or picking up a racquet for the first time, our experienced coaches are here to help you improve your game and have fun in the process.
Members are also invited to participate in social events throughout the summer including holiday picnics, family nights, ice cream socials, book clubs, and the annual crab feast (note that some social events do have additional fees, but many are included with membership). It isn't just about the kids — adults at Whitehall have their own opportunities for enjoyment and relaxation. With adult-only nights, members can unwind and socialize in a peaceful, adults-only environment. Whether it's a twilight swim, a round of trivia, or simply lounging poolside with a refreshing beverage, adults can enjoy some well-deserved time to themselves.
